The Reporter In The Keyhole

How far would you go for a story?
Needing to get the scoop on a case a newspaper reporter named, Choate did some keyhole journalism. Back in 1890 during the People v. Flack case, Choate  "concealed himself in [the] jury room and took shorthand notes of jury's deliberations".  (Concealed by a yellow suit.)

He was found guilty of criminal contempt. His eavesdropping violated New York Criminal Procedure Law, Title J, Article 310; Presence of non-jurors.
